Hazel on reception was amazingly helpful. The room was lovely & clean with a comfortable bed, drinking facilities & and hairdryer! We never heard a door bang or anyone talking all night & had the best nights sleep. This hotel is easy access from the domestic and international airport due to free transport available. We had the next day free before a night flight, so we paid $10 to keep a case at the airport & jumped on the free transport to DFO shopping centre which was great! This is all literally 10 mins away from the IBIS so it’s the perfect location. The food in the hotel restaurant was lovely & again recommend! We would definitely use this hotel again & have recommended it to our daughter too.

Walking distance from domestic terminal. If you get an official invoice from the Ibis desk showing you have stayed a night then you can get a free Airtrain transfer from the domestic to the international terminal which is very quick in the Airtrain but too far to walk with bags. The Airtrain is a great way to get between Brisbane city and the airport, as it's efficient, reliable, quick and frequent. No need to hire a car! This Ibis room had much more space than we've had in other Ibis stays elsewhere. Very good shower with strong water pressure. A resaonable restaurant and bar at ground level of the Ibis hotel. Helpful staff.

Besides the obvious convenience of the hotel to the airport, it really is a great Ibis. The rooms are comfortable and I did enjoy my view to the runway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very inviting with a more than satisfactory menu which allows you to while away the time very comfortably. We were travelling to the international terminal and the hotel does offer a shuttle but we walked over to the domestic terminal and caught the inter-terminal bus which was very easy.

It took me five minutes to walk from the domestic terminal to the hotel lobby, and then it only took a few minutes for me to get checked in. I liked the complimentary breakfast as well. Room/bathroom was clean and very nice/updated, bed was comfortable, free wifi. I had pasta for dinner in the hotel which was amazing, and I got to sit outside while I was eating it. They also offer a package for people who want to "plane-watch." I was very impressed with my stay.

Jordan

The location couldn't be better. You can walk there with a fully laden airport trolley from the domestic terminal. Note - the sign posting for the first part of the walk is pretty much non existent so you might have to ask someone. The staff were great, very helpful. The bed was pretty good if not actually great. There is an airport shuttle which was late on the first trip of the day. Next time I'll just take the trolley option
